"Sea Song" is about my mom who had died a few months prior. I usually cry when I sing it so I don't too often. May 2024 -- Capri -- Eugene, OR E A The wind is blowing us across the sea The lights of oil barges guiding me F#M D A A weight is lifted off my shoulders when You say let's never go back home again A D Your face it disappears into the dark You were never here but you still leave a mark And every home I try to grow is missing you With every star that crossed my heart I wish for you E D A Maybe now it's time I head to bed Burrow deep and dream a life instead F#M D A I can't bear to miss another thing When I'm gone will someone dream of me
